I know there are places that it is illegal to get raw milk certain ways but, we need to consider the pros and cons of raw milk, as the benefits just may outweigh the “dangers” of drinking it.

Of course however, that is for you to decide. If you are worried you could be allergic to milk, there are SO many ways to get tested to find out. Just find a trusted provider and set your mind at ease.

Otherwise, many times its just finding a really good clean small farm provider, and the benefits await!

Did you know that raw milk is so complete nutritionally, that one cup contains…

That is such a powerhouse drink, especially for growing children! Raw milk is also a great source of calcium, Vitamin A and potassium.

Because of it’s calcium levels, for years, people gave credit to raw milk and its health benefits for stronger bones.

Growing kids, mamas who need more bone support for all the calcium pregnancy takes, whole raw milk can help replenish so much. Even grown men who need to maintain their nutritional needs, that only raw milk can offer!

It’s crazy how much my kids crave whole raw milk, and I can only assume it is because they have such a need for its nutritional value in their growing bodies.

Teeth

According to the book “Cure Tooth Decay” by Ramel Nagel… Dr. Price’s protocol includes two+cups of raw grass fed cow’s whole fat milk daily. It is interesting how whole raw milk gets recommended for bone and teeth almost anywhere you read up on health for bones and teeth.

I highly recommend this book! He recommends lots of great foods and drink sources to help build or rebuild strong teeth.

This doesn’t mean you won’t need to visit that dentist, however its great to know what kinds of food sources we could use in our homes to optimize our oral health.

Where To Get Raw Milk

I personally recommend finding it as locally as you can. Know your farmer, make sure their practices are sanitary.

You want the absolute freshest milk to you, that you can get your hands on.

Look for grass fed, it is a much more healthier whole raw milk. You will need to check your states and local regulations and plan accordingly.

You can check out the website for The Raw Milk Finder if you don’t know where to start looking.

How To Transfer Your Whole Raw Milk

You want to keep it as cold as possible, the colder you can keep it, the longer it will last.

  • Have a good size cooler
  • If you have icepacks load them in the cooler all around the milk.
  • You can also do ice water, may make the cooler heavier but, it will do the trick of keeping it cold
  • Make sure your jars are SUPER clean and dry, keep the lids loose so it doesn’t get musty in the jars.

Grandma and Whole Raw Milk Benefits

Our Grandparents used raw milk, they knew the benefits. They were apart of a strong healthy hardworking generation. If you are like me in any way, you may be looking back to the ways of our grandparents, to try to figure out how they lived such a healthy, budget friendly, sustainable lifestyle.

Food was medicine to them! How did raw whole milk all of the sudden become illegal? It used to be, there was no way to transfer any food the way we do these days.
