The Best Healthier No Bake Cookie Balls (Nature’s Candy) is a recipe you will want on hand, try it and you will know exactly why!

When you are in a pinch for a quick dessert, these take like 15 minutes to throw together.

Warning*** THESE ARE ADDICTING!

I sold these in a shop for a period of time and they were one of the items, that pretty much sold out every single week! I don’t sell them anymore, so I think keeping this recipe to myself may be a bit selfish… So, I am sharing it with you!

The Best Healthier No Bake Cookie Balls (Nature’s Candy)

While I am not a vegan, this no-bake cookie recipe can be vegan-friendly depending on whether or not you are a vegan that uses raw honey.

I promise you no matter what your purpose these will satisfy your sweet tooth!

Coconut Shreds

If you are not a fan of coconut, in this recipe it is very hard to actually taste it. Then again, I may not be as sensitive to the taste as some, so you would just have to try it out for yourself!

What Kind Of Sweetener Do These No Bake Cookies Recipe Use?

Okay, so I normally use honey in our recipe however, if you use the same amount of maple syrup instead of honey, it tastes equally as good!

Honestly, it just really depends, sometimes, I have found I like the taste of the maple syrup better.

However, that is the beauty of this healthy no-bake cookie recipe. You get to play around with it a bit

It actually is NO BAKE, like you shouldn’t even have to use an ounce of heat.

  • Now, you can either roll these into energy balls or you can flatten them into an 8×8 baking dish.
  • If you are using the baking dish, after you flatten it in, place some wax paper or parchment paper on the top and flatten with a spatula.

When I say this is no-bake, I 100% mean it! This is a great recipe for when you are on the fly and need something quick. It’s healthy and could easily be tossed in as a school snack, work snack, or just whatever suits you!

We will add them to our picnic baskets, use them for dessert, I mean… I don’t know that there is a wrong time of day to eat this healthy dessert!

It really does make the perfect treat!

Peanut Butter

So the big question is this! Crunchy peanut butter or creamy peanut butter! I have done both and while you could totally go with either, our personal choice is creamy.

I feel like they stick together better with the creamy vs. the crunchy peanut butter.

Be sure to use natural peanut butter as it makes for a healthier dessert.

How to store the “The Best Healthier No Bake Cookie Balls (Nature’s Candy)

I store them in an airtight container, you could leave them at room temperature as long as it is not super hot…

Just to be safe though, if you want them to last longer place them in the refrigerator.

Old-fashioned oats vs. Quick Oats

For the most part in this recipe, I use old fashioned oats. Though, that is because it is what I keep on hand. You can certainly use quick oats if you so desire.
