This is one of the Best Easy Hamburger Dip Recipes you will make. I got this recipe from a party years ago and tucked it away in my favorite recipe books. It is such a crowd pleaser and truly such an easy appetizer or side dish to throw together for any event.

As long as you have all the ingredients ready to go, this takes us about 30 minutes from start to finish to throw together and get in the crock pot to melt together.

How does this easy cheeseburger dip taste?

This creamy dip has the taste of all the favorite burger toppings. It has a perfect creamy cheese taste that my kids LOVE.

What types of cheese does this easy cheesy dip use?

This recipe only uses cream cheese and parmesan cheese. I would not skip either… Both cheeses add so much flavor to this cheeseburger dip.

Equipment Need

  • Crockpot/ slow cooker
  • Skillet
  • Spatula for browning the meat

How long does it take to make this?

From start to finish, it takes about 30 minutes to get it into the slow cooker. From there you are just going to make sure the cheese gets melted into the rest of the ingredients. You are looking for it to be melted together and bubbly.

How to make this hamburger dip…

With only 9 ingredients necessary, the best part of this recipe is many of you will have most if not all the ingredients on hand… That being said, here’s the recipe and instructions below!

BEST EASY HAMBURGER DIP RECIPE

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbs. olive oil
  • 2 lbs. ground turkey or ground beef
  • 1 c. chopped onions red onion or white onion
  • 2 cloves garlic minced or 1 tsp of dried minced garlic
  • 16 oz of tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c. ketchup
  • 16 oz. cream cheese
  • 1-2 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
  • 2/3 c. grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • To a large skillet (I usually use my giant cast iron pan skillet) add your olive oil and chopped onion on medium-high heat. Once you have caramelized onions that are golden brown, you will add your choice of ground beef or ground turkey.
  • Once you brown the ground beef or your ground turkey in the onions, you will add the beef mixture or turkey mixture to your crock pot.
  • You will then add your cream cheese, parmesan cheese, tomato sauce ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic to the crockpot as well.
  • Turn the crockpot on low and stir occasionally until fully mixed and bubbly. If you want it to get down faster, you can turn it on high, watch it closely and give it a good stir more frequently until it is all mixed together and bubbly.
  • Serve with bell peppers, pita chips, and tortilla chips. You can probably also use kettle-cooked potato chips, we have never tried that before as we are not a big potato chip family.

Can I make this without Rotel tomatoes?

Yes, absolutely! For those looking to not make a Rotel dip, this recipe may be for you. I recommend only using plain tomato sauce, your favorite will work, I don’t have a specific brand I use, mine is usually homemade or the organic store brand.

Is this a hearty dip?

Yes, it is! I will often make this for a weekend finger food meal for my family or take it to take to a party. It is filling with the chips and veggies I pair with it. I will also cut up melon and maybe toss a healthy whole food chocolate chip cookie with it to top it off. My little family loves it!

Try this at your next party! I would LOVE to know how it goes!

I promise you, sharing this dip, is a delicious way to make someone’s day!
