"The Million Dollar Cookie Recipe " ( Best Healthy Chocolate Chip Cookie EVER)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter at room temperature
  • 1 cup brown sugar - I recommend using 1 cup of dehydrated raw cane sugar or coconut sugar and mixing it with 1 Tbs of blackstrap molasses
  • 1 cup dehydrated raw cane sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups oatmeal
  • 2 cups regular whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 12 ounces dark chocolate chips
  • 1 4- ounce milk chocolate I prefer Lily's chocolate but any milk chocolate will work
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped nuts I use pecans however, walnuts taste great in it too

Instructions

  • Heat oven to 375 degrees.
  • In a large bowl cream together butter and both sugars.
  • Stir in eggs and vanilla.
  • Grind your old-fashioned oats fine in a blender and add, flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.
  • Mix wet ingredients into the flour mixture
  • Finally, chop the milk chocolate bar with chocolate chips and nuts.
  • Fold that all into the cookie dough
  • Drop by spoonfuls, 2 inches apart, on a greased baking sheet or use parchment paper on the baking sheet
  • Bake Time: 10 minutes.
  • Place on a cooling rack to cool for at least 5 min
  • Yield: About 55 cookies.
